Default BES Newby. Exchange Sent Items and BB

Please Login to Remove!

I'm very new to both blackberrys and BES. But I've been given the task of setting this up.

I've got BES and the BB working together very well.

My question is: Is there any way to keep items which are composed on outlook and sent through the exchange server from being pushed as "sent" messages to the blackberry's? We don't want the general daily email being sent out to be pushed down to the blackberry. It just is taking up space.

Thanks and it's nice to have a great forum for referance.

Tim

It's not really taking up space since it's just the header that is sent.

There is probably something in the IT Policy that will do what you need. I leave it up to my users whether or not they want to see their sent items (either from the BB or from Outlook). They can turn it off on their device.

of course it is each persons perogative to remove that but I suggest you are wasting a VERY usefull feature on the BB. You don't have to wonder from where you sent a message. It is just there on the BB for you to seach through which I do ALL the time. Of course if you Hide sent messages, you can always just pop over into your sent items folder to see the same things.

my 2 cents
