Default BES Upgrade for Domino 2.2 to 4.1

Please Login to Remove!

We are currently running 2.2 sp6. We are in the planning process to go to 4.1. We have verified that all 120 handhelds are at a 4.x min code. My question is which way is the best?
1. In Place upgrade
2. Bring up new 4.1 Server in do a gradual migration?

I would like to hear from anyone who has done an upgrade and possible issues they encountered?

You are at SP6 which is good. RIM recommends to be at least SP3a if I am not wrong. Other than that, pump up your RAM and power up your hardware as 4.1 has more features. Also check out the checklist article... KB-05217 "What Is - Checklist for upgrading BlackBerry Enterprise Server 4.0 to BlackBerry Enterprise Server 4.1" for applicable pre-requistites.
