Hi Group,

We have BES 4.0. Changed the p/w on our main fileserver (we are a small co., run one primary fileserver and separate servers for Exchange and Blackberry) and now the blackberry server, while showing active, 36 users connected, won't redirect messages to the handhelds? (sorry if I am phrasing that wrong). The handhelds will neither send nor receive any emails. We run 33 model 6750's and 3 model 7130's, if that matters.

Any ideas? Need more info other than what's provided here? Any suggestions appreciated.

What account was linked to the "password" that was changed?
Is file server account the same account used to as the BES service account?

Be sure the BB Services 'Log On As:' account reflects the new password.

It was the main 'administrator' password. Pardon my newness as I proceed thru this, but bear w/ me. I checked services.msc and all blackberry services were, under the logon tab, marked as using the Local System Account. I changed all of them to use the specific domain/adminstrator account w/ the new password and restarted all services...nada...

Well...it's been 10 mins since I started this reply, and now they're working? At least mine is getting messages inbound and is sending okay...yikes...
