Default Friday Messages in Inbox not delivered to BB from BES 4.1

A BB user decided to get a new phone line... That day, he went to Cingular, got the new SIM and installed it in his BB. He wasnt on EDGE for some reason, but after resetting the device the next day, and after I resent service books and IT admin policy did it start working again...

What's odd, is all his e-mails on Friday did not get delivered to his device and on BES it does not show any Pending Messages.. Is there a way to resync those messages?

- He already tried Reconcile Messages from BB
- I dont want to have him reset his BB and re-activate since he will lose a bunch of settings ... Or maybe I'm wrong, maybe thats the way you resync it? If so, you know when you Resync it asks if you want to clear the existing data, do I just answer NO to that?

Is it possible the date/tme was off when he set up this device? The date/time that shows in the message list is the date/time that the message was delivered to the device, not when it was sent. I'd have him do a search for a message and make sure it's not just showing the wrong date/time.

The device was never reset. The time and date look good, and the messages on Friday are not there. We reviewed the name and subject.

Any other ideas?
