Default can't activate user

Please Login to Remove!

I am trying to activate a user on the BB8700 but it keeps failing. The error log messages include:

1. User xxx/xxx has incomplete config information - check user name, pin, and key
2. PIM state data does not exist for user CN=xxx/OU=xxx/O=xxx

On the device, it will be activating till the point when it was trying to download the services and after some time, the error message will appear ->
"An error occured. Please contact your System Administrator.".

I have activated this user on another device before and he lost it. I have sent a "Erase Data and Disable Handheld" to the old device before, this should not be affecting his account right?

I have tried to add another user to this device and it still doesn't work so is it something wrong with the device?

Side-track to another question, what does this mean?

BES pending count 43, sent 15, queued 28

Does it mean there are 28 pending messages to be sent to the users? How do I clear them?

Thank you in advance.

Default Activate new user

Hi,

I had the same problem with activating a user, the problem was that the email that was sending to the blackberry device was bounced due to our mailfilter.

Default

that was not my issue.. anyway, got it resolved by connecting it directly to the server and used the provisioning method in the BES manager to activate the device...
