I am running BES 4.0.4.3 and handhelds with an older version of the 4.x handheld software. I would like to update the handhelds to the latest handheld software. Can I push this from the BES?

I have tried but can not see how to do it! I have also checked the documentation on the RIM website but can not find any details on how to do this.

Unfortunately there is no way to push either the handheld or Desktop software via BES.

From what I have heard, this is something that is going to be possible starting with BES 5.0. No, I don't have any idea when this will be available.

Although you can't push this wirelessly you can get them to upgrade from a shared folder over the local area network if they have device manager installed on their PC's.

This is available in 4.0 and later.
