Default blackberry controller Service stops

Please Login to Remove!

I am having issues with my blackberry server.
it seems that the 'blackberry controller' service stops
if i then try to restart the service it fails.
If i put the bes_admin password back in it starts ok?????

It looks like it looses the password details for that service.

I have checked the permissions on the server and they are all there apart from one, which i cannot add.

Cannot add the account to log on locally rights to the account the box is all greyed out, i have tried it as the domain admin and local admin and it still remains greyed out

I am using 4.0 for exchange on a 2003 server
exchange on a 2000 box.

Lol , check your controller logs again to verify if you server is crashing more than 10 times in 24 hrs. TH elogs are in the Logs directory of BES.You are looking for CTRL

Your explaination to what the problem may be seem remotely unlikey and more of a windows bug.

This log doesnt really show anything obvious.

Looks like it restarts twice a day.

From the logs, it appears you have hung threads, and thus causing the controller to stop/restart in order to clear them. On a healthy BES, hung threads should not reach that limit. Might want to search on here for that avenue of troubleshooting and proceed from there.
In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and is widely regarded as a bad move.
