I have a user whose sync with outlook is not working properly. Unfortunately, I myself do not have a BB and did not set up intellisync and am not familiar with it. So, please bear with my lack of knowledge.
He connects with a usb cable. He had at one point lost all his contacts on the BB, got them back (seemed to get an older version) and now the sync is not working. Info entered in Outlook is getting deleted and overwritten with older data from the BB and only changes made to the BB are taking effect.
I thought one problem might be that the BB is taking priority over Outlook, but I can't find how to change the priority. In the log it says that the 1st system is the Handheld and the 2nd is Outlook. Does that mean the BB is taking priority over Outlook? If so, where do you change that? I cannot find an option for that under configure PIM.
Also, I looked at the personal folder listed inthe profile being used, and it is not being updated. Is that a problem?
Can someone give me some direction how to correct this situation?
