- Exchange 2003 SP2 on Windows 2003 SP1
- BES 4.0.5 with Windows Authentication on local MSDE database (120 users)
- Services are all running using the besadmin account
- BES was installed with besadmin account
For the three Exchange Full Admins/BES Admins remote desktop manager works fine.
For three other BES admins they get a Windows login prompt for the Exchange server housing the besadmin account.
The other three BES admins are setup as administrators on the BES server, the Exchange server housing the besadmin account and have even been made Full Exchange Admins in ESM. Even with Administrator rights, it comes up with the Windows login prompt. Their credentials do nothing. The besadmin login/password works if that is entered.
Any idea why this login prompt is coming up??
Also, we tried setting them up through remote desktop on the BES itself. That doesn't give the login prompt, but they get "Unable to connect to the database!" error there.
