Question Calendar sync issue

Please Login to Remove!

We have deployed Blackberry’s using a BES which has been working fine. However, I have one user that has input appointments in her calendar on the Blackberry and they aren’t synching with her calendar in Exchange. We can put appointments in her calendar on exchange and it synch’s fine with her Blackberry. All her other folders, e-mail, contacts, etc. are also synching fine.

Has anyone ever run into this and know a way to fix it? Thanks in advance for your help.

Is your BES 4.x and the device OS also 4.x? If so, double check that the Wireless Synchronization is set to 'Yes' under the Calendar options. Probably is, but can't hurt to check.

The other thing you can try is deleting and undeleting the users 'Desktop[SYNC]' service book. I've had luck with that in these situations.

are you using desktop manager or wireless synch ?

Default I just joined with the same problem

All of our Blackberries are having problems with bi-directional sync of only the calendars.

Exchange to BB works fine. BB to Exchange does not. Everything else works.

whats the status of thewireless Calendar synch on the BES COnsole saying - enabled or disabled. If disabled, then enable it as suggest in one of the replies

Hi,

Boss just got a new BB and I get to be the BES admin.

How do I enable "wireless calendar" synch on his BB from the BES manager? I can see it disabled in his account, but I can't find the switch to turn it on. He confirmed in his desktop synch settings he has it set to "blackberry wireless" synch.

edit: being the impatient bastard that I am, I just IM'ed him and told him to enable it on his BB
