Default Just installed BES

Please Login to Remove!

First off let me say hello everyone! I am brand spanking new to the forum.

I just installed BES Express 4.1 and trying to activate my first blackberry but during the enterprise activation, I get "server is not responding". Does anyone know what I may have missed during the installation or if its something I did wrong? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

The BES is installed on Windows 2003 server and we use Exchange 2000

Can you send a PIN message from the handheld? Is your BlackBerry data plan BES capable? Are you seeing the activation email in the inbox of the account your trying to activate?

Yes to all those. Turned out it was permission problems. I didn't have all the proper permissions setup, but I got it working now. Thanks for the quick repsonse.
