Just noticed an extra coloum in my BES Manager called "Last Result" is this a new thing since I upgraded to SP5 or have it always been there and I', just a bit dense?

Its shows a fair few "Message Expired At Netwrok" I assume this means the device is most likely turned off, and has been for a while? Is there any other explination that can casue this?

Usually 'last result' will show Delivered or Expired At Network. This feature has been there since BES 3.6

FYI: the BES with attempt to deliver a maximum of 5 messages to a device at any one time whilst keeping the others in the queue. Messages expire on the network if they do not get delivered within 7 days. Thus, if a device is switched off or out of network coverage etc it will loose 5 messages out of its pending messages queue every 7 days. These messages can never be retrieved unless re-sent by the message originator. Once these 5 messages are purged another 5 are queued up for delivery and the BES will attempt to deliver them for 7 days etc etc.

There are reg hacks that can extend the 7 day messages expiration limit.
