Default BES 3.6 Reply Flag on Desktop

Please Login to Remove!

I am running BES 3.6 with latest service pack and Exchange2k. My boss is having an issue where messages he replies to from his blackberry does not put the reply flag on the message in Outlook 2k3 on his desktop. How can i make this happen? Also, he prefers that when he reads a message on his blackberry that it does not mark it as opened on his desktop, like it does when using the desktop redirector.

I just looked at his Outlook and it is at SP1. i am getting it up to date and will see if that helps.

Default New info

The issue with reply flag isn't just when replying with blackberry. It is also from his desktop so I will figure that out, not a BES issue. I would still like to know if it is possible to keep the messeges marked unread on his desktop after he has viewed them on his bb. I know he can just mark as unread on his bb but he preferred how the desktop redirector worked as far as message marking. The problem was that his office desktop had to remain logged on and the whole issue of that.

On the device go to Messages - Options - Email Reconciliation and change Delete On to 'Handheld'. You probably have it currently set to 'Mailbox and Handheld'.
