Default Calendar Wireless Sync - over 60 days...

Please Login to Remove!

We're trying to get a users full calendar onto their blackberry (a 7 year span - but very few entries - only about 300). I turned the "keep appointments" to forever, but it's only backlogging 30 days. Is this a server setting?

Strangely, when I select "keep appointment: 60 days," it does backlog the full 60 days. Why would "Forever" set it to 30 days (unless "Forever" uses some server setting)?

I realize I could import the data from the users PC with desktop manager; but from what I've been told, if I import, then turn wireless sync on, the entries will double because the wireless entries will have different ID tags of some sort than the hardlined counterparts.

Is there something else I could try?

1. You are using the word backlogging incorrectly and it's hilarious

2. The BlackBerry isn't supposed to sync the calendar for more than 30 days in the past, the future will be pulled down as you go forward.

1. *shrug* I'm glad it's so funny.

2. Then why is there an option for "keep 60 days" and "keep forever?"

Also, it's possible to import all data using the desktop manager... Why is it not possible wirelessly?

I think its by design that it doesnt go more than 30 days in the past. There is an article that speak to this on the website. I think it will put all items if you use the desktop manager, but you cant sync the calendar wirelessly if you want the data to remain
