Default Renaming an IT Policy

Please Login to Remove!

As you know this is impossible through the Console. Any SQL types managed to successfully do it?

Is it safe to do so?

They are listed in the ITPolicy2 table under the PolicyName column. Whether this will be safe or not is up in the air - my guess would lean towards 'No'.

Can you not just create a new one and move your users to it? I suppose if you have a few hundred/thousand users, this wouldn't be an option, though... and also depending on what all policy options you have enabled.
In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and is widely regarded as a bad move.

Why not try it? Create another policy assign it to yourself and then change the name of it. If it breaks no worries, its not the live policy.
