Default Using BES on an network without activedirectory

Please Login to Remove!

My company has been using blackberrys for a while with BWC, but now we want to move to BES.

Our network is run with a Windows NT 4 domain controller, and our exchange server runs on Windows NT 4 with Exchange 5.5. Our thoughts were to run seperate windows 2000 or 2003 BES server. Does BES require an activedirectory network? Is this setup possible?

Thanks in advance.
