Default Desktop Manager Problem Since 4.1 Upgrade

Please Login to Remove!

We recently upgraded from BES for Domino 2.2 to 4.1 and are trying to get users up to speed on OTA synchronization. We have some users who are trying to sync using the Desktop Manager and are getting Intellisync failure messages that say "Read-only database cannot be synchronized." I thought the Desktop Manager should still function. Am I wrong?

The handhelds have already activated via the BES and when they try to synchronize the address book, contacts, or memos, Desktop Manager can't because they are already set for wireless synchronization. I would turn off Auto Sync so that Desktop Manager doesn't try to synchronize manually since you don't need to do that anymore.

I believe that once you have a BB setup on BES you are not able to use the PIM feature on the desktop manager since it is already integrated with the BES . . . but I have been wrong before.

Wait a minute. You can't use the desktop manager to sync and setup PIM data for users on a BES??????

IT seems to work fine for me?
