Default RIM Technical Support Hold Music

I know you can disable it, but what were they thinking when they chose that music. Do they hope it will drive people to suicide to knock down the call volume? Sheesh!

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry7100i/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/103)

Trust me that the music is better than the 'soft tone' alternative. It's not a soft tone by any means.....

PLEASE tell me how to disable that!! 2 weeks ago for 2 days straight I had to spend about an hour on hold each day because they were "experiencing abnormal call volume". It got so bad, I found myself humming it later on the second night! I'm pretty sure I had a dream that I was stuck in RIM's queue for eternity.

Yes but that tone is even more grating. I would rather hear fingernails on a chalkboard for music then.

Well, sometimes the music is better then the answer you get from the provider.
