Is your attachment service installed and running? I recall their being a test utility in 3.6 that you can use to verify attachment service functionality.

Attachment service is running and I used the test tool succesfully.
Not a port issue because we have verified those specific posrts are open.
I am assuming when I receive an email with an attachment on the BBerry I will see a new menu option in the email? Will the email icon look different as well such as a paperclip in Outlook?
Man I feel helpless....

it depends on which type of attachment and if you have the attachment service setup properly. word, excel, pdf, etc are all standard. image files are not (with 3.6 BES).

and yes, it will have a 'paperclip on top of an envelope' icon next to the message.

Thanks for reply. I have tried .doc, .xls and .zip and still no dice. No "paperclip" icon and no new options in menu on a message. ONe question, after installing the attachment service and connector does the BES require a restart? I did notice the attachment service was not started by default however I started it manually.
Thoughts?

BTW...I appreciate you all helping a newbie ;)
