I have a customer with a BES 4.1 with no service pack server connecting to Exchange 2003. I have enabled the connection service using the following settings:

Authentication\Support HTTP Authentication: True
MDS Authentication\Enabled: False

I have configured the proxy settings in the "Proxy Settings" area.

The "BES 4.1 Administration Guide" has the following comment:
"Configure the MDSLogin.conf file and the Java Authentication and Authorization Service (JAAS) configuration file located in
<drive:>\Program Files\Research In Motion\BlackBerry Enterprise Server\MDS\Servers\ServerInstance\config. For information on configuring the JAAS configuration file visit the Sun Java website at
JAAS Login Configuration File. "

What do I need to configure, if anything, in these files?
