Angry Provisioning Error 17 on Large Mail files

I'm about at wits end. I'm on Domino 6.5.4. I've got a user with a 5 GB+ mail file (yeah, I know) and every time I try to do a wired activation, I get the dreaded "The Blackberry Agent process did not respond to the provisioning request in a timely manner. (17)". If I do a wireless activation, it ends up timing.

My administration is very touchy about us rebooting the server unless we have to. Has anyone had ANY OTHER luck fixing this and / or experienced this with overly large mail files.

I have a six pack of beer when anyone who can help me figure this out comes to Nashville TN...

We had this same issue. After several calls to RIM, we had to up our thread pool via a registry key. They also said there is a key to deal w/ large chunks of files but we have not implemented it as of yet. I sent you a PM that has more info.

Hey kymgfan717 & Jeaux16,

I am experiencing the (17) and (16) error as well (The user is not yet known to the BlackBerry Agent). We have 1125 users on one BES server polling multiple Domino 7.0.1 servers. Could you also post the "chunk" fix here as well? Thanks!
