Default BES 4.1.1 - Log on as a service

Please Login to Remove!

Greetings!

I'm about to do a new install of BES 4.1.1 and I'm running into a problem dealing with the BES service account, 'Log on as a service' policy. In a nutshell I cannot add the BES account to that policy. Everything is greyed out. I've done all the other pre-steps but for some odd reason this part isn't working for me.

Anyone else have this trouble? Am I doing something wrong like missing a step or something?

If it's greyed out, then talk to your Active Directory guys (unless you are that person, in which case, look at all applicable GPOs).

As long as the service account is a local administrator, you wouldnt really need that

As it turns out I forgot about a GPO. Edited the GPO and now I'm just waiting for it to take effect.

Thanx for the insight!
