Default BES 4.1 and Domino 7.01, but do not want read marks to replicate

Please Login to Remove!

My issue is probably unusual, as people seem to want the opposite.

We recently upgraded to Domino 7.01 from R5, and now read marks from handhelds are replicating to Domino. I've since found that that's because it wasn't supported in R5. Some of my users however, liked it when it wasn't replicating.

Is this possible?

Thanks

Josh

sure just edit, the acl of the mail database, and give the BES server editor rights instead of manager. The read and unread will replicate only with manager rights.

Or you can just choose to uncheck the DB Properties for Maintain Unread marks on the mail file.

Default Unread marks

We have a managing director who wants the unread marks to go one way only from Notes to BB and not the other way around. Any help will be great.

I have gotten the same request but it goes both ways and not just one way as he wants it.

the best would be that BES does not sync the marks at all... that will solve all our issues :P
