Default outlook alarms don't work after being added to BES

Please Login to Remove!

Hi All,

I recently had my blackberry added to our BES server (our IT staff added me). Now I'm running into a situation where I don't get Calendar reminders on Outlook on my computer but the reminders work fine on the handheld. This happened immediately after being activated on the BES so i requested that I be removed and it's still happening.

Anyone ever expereinced this? My IT folks are stumped and managing appointments on a Blackberry is not the easiest thing.

Thanks,

-Cap

Default

what version of outlook are you running ?
Did an exchange admin create an outlook profile when testing your mail on your blackberry if so the reminders may have been unticked. ?

As I user I would perform the following. IF using outlook 2002 Click Tools Options untick the default reminder and re-tcik the default reminder. Apply and ok.

THen tools >options > other > advanced options > Reminder options > Unctick display the reminder > Retick display the reminder.

This should then bring back your reminders.

If this does not work close down outlook click start run "outlook / cleanreminders" without the quotes.

If that fails get an adminstrator to check the following reg key
HKCU\software\microsoft\office\10.0\outlook\remind ers.
dword 1.
