Hi,

I have installed BES 4.1 express for exchange and just
about everything works fine except that emails received
from our exchange server are received with the source as
'Desktop Secure' and not 'Mobile email', even though they
are sent through BES.

The problem with receiving those emails from 'Desktop Secure'
is that when my boss tries to reply to those emails the blackberry device
attempts to send the replies via the the desktop redirector and not over the air.

Is there anything in BES which control the source of where emails
are sent from?

by default messages coming from your corp. email is gonna show "desktop secure" eirther with redirector or BES. if you view the desktop cmime service book and if the "uid" field has your SRP then its using your BES if it has your email address then its using redirector
