Been doing this for a while but thought id just see what the general goss is.

Anything wrong with a user going from a 7230 to a 7290 to a 7100?

just activate the new handheld for the user is that all?

i know trhere profile follows them round (or something like that) but it doesnt gett muddled up does it?

I fou8nd it works fine, but the activation can be iffy (have to keep trying to activate a few times)

am i doing it wrong?

all you have to do is plug the blackberry into their workstation and as long as they have desktop manager it will detect the new PIN and ask you to switch to the new deivce and then it will perform a slow sync with the new device.

what would i do now?

The different handhelds will have to have at least 4.0 handheld code and would have to request an over the air activation password from you.... or just have them install the desktop manager.
