Default BES 4.0.3 upgrade to BES 4.1.1 - 10-04-2006, 09:44 AM

Hello all,

I ust did an upgrade to BES 4.1.1 from BES 4.0.3 and have some problems.

Here's what I did.

Ran the install, upgraded the database and it askes to reboot server. Rebooted server and the install continues. I get to the end of MDS install part and says that there has been an error and check the logs.

I check the install logs and see 1 non-fatal error. Its a Java Stack Overflow error so I check the version of Java instaleld. 5.0SP6. I also notice the Symantec Corporate antivirus was active so I stop all services, just in case.

I lanch the install again and do an install over the top. This time it seems to install correctly. Reboot again just in case.

I open the BES Manager and then click on the MDS services and it give me the error:

"There are errors in retrieving data from the server. Please refer to the log for more information." See attachment.

All the email and web browsing seems to work from the handhelds and all my users appear in the BES manager. All seems to be working fine except for the error in the BES manager?

Any ideas?

Rob

PS: Also everytime I reboot I see its trying to open "pool.bin" file but as the extension .bin in not associated with anything it asks me which program I should open it with????
