Question Messages replied or fwd from device appear as blank body for recipents - 10-06-2006, 10:53 AM

Hi all,

Has anybody seen the same issue as mine? User on Domino BES 4.1 sp2, using 8700 new handheld, just activated. I tried seacrhing into the debug log by using the user's name at around the time he reported and I see this:

Unable to render original message text for user "user-name"...

What happened is messages replied or fwd from blackberry appear as a blank body for recipents end.

But, same message replied ot fwd from Lotus Notes workspace has no problem at all.

It was determined to be a known issue in bes 4.1sp2. The bes is not able to process large multi-parts MIME messages or MIME messages from external sources like Yahoo, Hotmail or Gmail. Issue shall be addressed in sp3, but I was not given the date/time for this service pack release, so have to wait.
