Default Policy for Delete on Mailbox & Handheld - 10-10-2006, 10:40 AM

I can't seem to find an answer to what I'm assuming is simple question...

We only have 6 handhelds on our BES, but I thought by default all the handhelds were deleting on both the mailbox/Exchange & the handheld. But, I just actived a couple new ones, and noticed that they were only set to delete on the handheld.

Is there an IT policy or something that I can set so deletes are ALWAYS synced by default?

Thanks in advance for any help!

Default Talked with BB Support - 10-12-2006, 02:00 PM

I just had a talk with BB support via telephone and asked a similar question. The response I got was that there was not and that this was so the user of the device could configure that setting to meet their preferences.

This is one of the issues that I have too. Sometimes there are options that you don't want the users to set, this being one of them, so this should be something that the BES policy should control. It is called Blackberry Enterprise Server, not Blackberry Personal Server.
