Unlike outlook and Domino which shows the Global adress list in full when you go to the add user screen the Groupwise add user screen requires you to type in the user name and click on serach before it shows you anything.

Hav you tried this?

You can bring back the whole address book by using a wildcard character in your search - if you just use the character % you should get your entire GW book.

From a command line run GWsystemaddressbooksync.exe

This is in the Program Files/Research in Motion/BES folder

if it doesn't work make sure your admin user has a valid GW mailbox.

Also - check the MbAddressLookup table to make sure it's populated with entries - I had some flakyness with the address book sync when I first installed (it ran but only populated 1/2 of the db before it crapped out. I ran it again from command line and it was fine.)

This should do it. Likely a new BES right? This process runs on its own every 12 hours but sometimes it doesn't run when the BES is first set up.

In BB Server Config, check your Admin User. Then log into the GW Client on the BES with that user.

If this doesn't work, or you get an error running GWSystemAddressBookSync check that your Trusted Application Key was setup correctly and replicated down from your wpdomain database to your Post Offices.

Once this is done use the wildcard % to locate your users.
