Default new SRP identifier

Please Login to Remove!

We were running on a demo key.
When I replaced with a permanent no handhelds can do lookups or send email from the handheld.
If I do a wireless activation (all at version 4.0), the handheld can send email and do lookups.
However, for the 7280's at least, the enterprise activation icon on the desktop remains.
In the progress screen it says -

[email address] is now enabled

and goes no further.

Any ideas?

Default SRP identifier

Did you try to reactivate? I've seen issues with my 7280 where the activation process seems to hang. I have to stop it and use the resend service book command and activat it again.

It could be the sync service locking up. Restarting it and the policy service might help.

Also, try turning off all the options under PIM Sync for the users (calendar, tasks, memos, email options, filters, addy book, etc...). Then activate the device. Then after the device is activated, re-enable those services. That might help you out a little.

...or just reset the device and it should pick back up where it left off...
