Default BES 3.6 vs 4.0

For a very basic user (this is acutally for my personal exchange server), what will the differences between 3.6 and 4.0 be?

nothing added for a 'basic' user (if you mean email and calendar only). 3.6 does email and calendar syncrhonization wirelessly. 4.0 adds in the functionality of a few other things. for those who care about being able to open images in their email, then you'd want to consider 4.0. from an admin's standpoint on server and handheld management, 4.0 is lightyears beyond 3.6.

so with 3.6 I won't be able to open attachements? I am really looking for e-mail (with attachements), calendar, tasks, and contacts.

will 3.6 handle all that?

also, RIM's webpage says that BES 3.6 supports attachements- just not image attachments.

is that wrong?

I think the range of image attachments is greatly expanded actually with 4.0.

It was BWC I was thinking about that supported attachments with 4.0

BES 3.6 most certainly does support attachments - but not image attachments.

3.6 supports attachments but not the pictures. Also 4.0 does it all wireless synching. Contacts, Calendars, Tasks, Memos and wireless email reconciliation.
