Question Policy for message retention?

Please Login to Remove!

Is there a policy that can be set on the BES for message retention? One of our managers would like to know if this can be set to automatically delete any emails past a certain age (ie, like the handheld "Delete items older than 30 days").

Thanks in advance.

Default records management

From a records management point of view this would be really important.

I would be quite interested to know if anybody has any ideas on how this could accomplished ... forcing emails to be deleted from blackberry after a period of time.

What would be even more important is if they could be deleted in such a way that they could not be recovered. Overwritten in memory with 1 & 0's to ensure that they are realy gone for ever.

Default

Good to know others see this as valuable too.

I contacted RIM and all they could say was "Send an email to [email address]". So I did.
