We are running BES 4.0 on a Windows 2000 server. Our BES SQL 2000 db is located on another Windows 2000 Server. We have to return the current SQL server and I would like to move the BES SQL db to a different server. I have backed up and restored the BES SQL db to the new server. When I attempt to point the db to the new server using the Blackberry Server Configuration Tool, I receive "db upgrade failed". Are there specific steps for moving a BES SQL DB?

Make sure the account you are using has db_owner and Server administrator in SQL while you are doing the move.
