Dmomino and wireless environment.
User called trying to read maill getting the following error message:
error "un caught exception dssma invalid state (5) 2393". Reading this forum and searching blackberry.com found that most advice was to hard reset the device ( 8700g). The user did this a number of times and the error is now cleared.

I get this message and I am on BIS. It only occurs when I delete multiple emails, and the only way to clear it is to do a hard reset.

Any clue as to why this message occurs?

When I've run into a similar issue, I was able to get rid of the error by upgrading or reloading the device OS.

Hi kurrupt_1,
I don't know why this occurs sorry. No other users have reported the issue since the above.
