Hi all,

I'm very new with blackberries, and hope I will find some useful help over here.
I intend to set up a BES on a SBS 2003 domain, for a maximum of 5 users... first install on the server itself looks OK. I mean at lesat my exchange server is not yet screwed up!
So I will try this way, but I would like to know, in case of problem, if it is possible to install BES on a Windows XP Pro, or do I really need a Windows Server ?

1) Suggest posting BES releated queries in BES admin corner, as more of us hang out there.

2) Officially you should not run BES on the same server as exchange, although theres now a BB KB article that suggest for less than 15 users it might be ok.

3) Yes you can run on Win-XP. I've run a BES for one of my small sites like this for 6 months with no issues. Less risky as you can re-boot the BES without affecting the SBS. All you need to install on the XP box is "windows server admin tools" and Exchange system manager, then go for it..
