Default Second BES

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,

I want to install a second BES because our users are more than 350. Can I just get another SRP ID and key to install a new one? Can you tell me what I should pay attention to?

Thanks!

Definitely a good move to distribute the users if you have the budget. Are you using a SQL server to house the BESMgmt database? If you are using the MSDE instance, you might want to migrate the db to a SQL server. Then purchase a new SRP for your new BES and use the same BESMgmt. This will put your 2 BES into a single BlackBerry Domain and it is much easier management when you want to move the users between them.
