Default Upgrade from 4.1.1 to 4.1.2

Is this upgrade worth it in a Domino environment yet or should I just wait until version 5 next year? I'm trying to impact my users as little as possible so I wanted to find out your thoughts on this upgrade.

If you read the documentation, there isnt much change from BES 4.1 to 4.2. However, how many user's do you have? If the fix list really applies to you, I would suggest doing this upgrade at a time where in there isnt use of the blackberry, such as 12-4am. That is the time we usually perform upgrades or patches. This avoids many calls and or complaints to our helpdesk.

I applied the 4.12 to my test server and it didnt take more than 30 minutes including a reboot and initializing users. It all depends on how many user;s you have, what is your time window to perform an upgrade and if you need the upgrade.

You should apply the service packs (and hot fixes) available now rather than wait for a version that hasn't even been announced yet.

not necessarily unless it applies to your environment. You dont want to keep applying SP's when it doesnt help your environment. You can always wait for the release change....Unless the Release change requires you to be on a certain SP before upgrading.

There were a lot of changes and new features in 4.1.2, even if some/most don't really notice them. I would recommend it, even if I personally feel that it was rushed to market to serve a need/requirement.
