After upgrading to BES 4.1.2 BesAlerts are going crazy, i have set them to Critical only but am still getting audit messages when ever someone is added/deleted/activated. Is there any way to stop this?

Also the Dispatcher seems to disconnect and reconnect once a day, is anyone else experiencing this.

Don't even go there. I get at least one batch of dispatcher messages a day!! I've come to the conclusion it's nothing odd and the SRP probably drops and reconnects with the NOC every day as a matter of course, it's probably just never been audited on BESAlert before this version. On the timestamps for my BESAlet dispatcher messages there's only about 4 seconds of disconnection time.

The audit of new users/deleted users and activated devices is also a default setting. Not sure if you can switch it off though, maybe, I like it and therefore have never checked out how to switch it off.

Not much help to you in my post I fear but hopefully put your mind at rest with the dispatcher one anyway!!!

I opened up a ticket with RIM, and after some frustrating e-mails back and forth for a week or two, I just disabled the service and monitor it my own way.

Cheers, its annying but looks like there is nothing i can do about it. It just freaks me out when I get 20 odd emails over night saying BES Alert!

How many users do you add a day? I get between 10 and 20 users, each user has 3 mails (removed from bes, added to bes and activated). Luckly I can filter these messages on the Handheld, if only I could on Notes!

Ha, it is painful isn't it! I might get a few new users a day so I don't find it painful, I could see it getting annoying when you get 10, 20 or more though.

I just migrated about 400 users to a new box. That's about 1200 alerts...

Anyways, I just got back the following from RIM on Ticket# RQST00003324215

The feature enhancement that was logged under SDR114660 will enable BlackBerry Enterprise Server administrators to disable [AUDIT] logging if the BESAlert is monitoring the server.
