When a user is sent an appointment and accepts it is send a email saying the user accepted the appointment and marks the calender. Then a min. later another email is sent saying the user declines the appoint they just accepted and then erases the entry in the calender. Any ideas... Its not everytime

What version of BES?
What version of GroupWise client on the BES? Also release date:

You want 4.1.2.x and for a GroupWise client you want 6.5.7 from 11/6/2006
You can get update 1 from TID: 2974002 and the rev4 patch from TID: 2974707

I have 4.1.0.41 for BES and not going down to GW6.5 we are running 7. Should I update the BES?

Yes update BES and yes downgrade the GroupWise client on the BES. The rest of your environment will work fine at 7.x

Upgrading now.... What is the advantage of downgrading the client?

Upgraded to 4.1.2 and now BES is not sending mail.

Did you select SOAP mode or OAPI mode?

Also the GW 6.5.7 client is the only one that is supported, GW7.0 doesn't do EAs and has weird email rec/calendar sync isssues.

Soap. But i installed the MDS services server which is not needed but I can not figure out how to uninstall it.

Okay unless you are running Post office 7.0.1 IR1 or higher (beta still)
You want to switch back to OAPI mode, you will need to go through the Change database wizard to do that.
