Question Installation Question

Please Login to Remove!

I'm installing BES (Express) on a Win 2003 Server with Exchange 2003. I can't get past the EULA screen because BES will not install because it has detected Terminal Services Application Mode on my system. Is there a way around this? Do I have to uninstall Terminal Services?

Any help would be appreciated.

I would recommend not installing on a terminal server. You should not have terminal server on an exchange server anyway. 20033 has remote desktop features so there is no longer a needto install terminal server to get that functionality.

try this however:

from a command prompt type:

change user /install

if it installs, type this after hte installation is finsihed (after the reboot and configuration):

change user /execute

Default Windows 2000 Server and windows SBS 2003

For what ever reason our company was setup with a windows 2000 server as a terminal app server and our exchange was setup on win 2003 SBS.

I am not a server guy.

So here is my question, How can I get around the Terminal app issues of installing the BES?

our company is not going to invest in another box since they just spent we too much for a giant calender.

any help would be apreciated.

Thank you,
Kevin

P.S. I have read as may of the other post as possible. If i missed the answer and you point me to it.
Again, Thank you.

This won't help you but I just installed BES on a different box without Terminal Server. I couldn't get around the terminal server issue.
