Default BCP\DR for BES with VMWare

Please Login to Remove!

Hi All,

Ive done alot of forum searching on BCP/DR for the bes.

I just wanted to ask if anyone had a VMWare BCP/DR setup.

If so what their implementation is and importantly is it working.

Were are running One BES 4.0.5 (pointing to our main SQL box) with Exchange.

Thanks in advance.

We actually had two servers running in our Domino environment, one physical server, the other was virtual running in VMWare ESX 2.5.2, both pointing to the same database. Backups were done via a simple OSQL command (first, I performed a full backup to a remote folder, then created a scheduled task to perform incremental backups weekly).

It should be mentioned that RIM currently does not support a virtual implementation of BES, although it seems to work just fine for everyone that I've seen running it here.
