We are planning to change all of our *.de default Email addresses to *.com within our Exchange enviroment.

Is there anything that needs to be done on the BES side?

Under BES 4.0 SP4 which I have, No you dont. As long as you set the new address as the primary address, BES should pick the change up

I recently changed the e-mail addresses of every person at my company also.. I have 4.0 and 4.1 and we had no issues with BES.

BES uses your legacyExchangeDN to map to your users.
