Question Bes 4.0

Please Login to Remove!

I had some problems with my upgrade to 4.0. On the BES 4.0, are you able to run a repair on the installation or install over 4.0 again with losing any data, users or causing any other problems?

Your data lives in the database and the BES service account mailbox. So if you had issues, simply rerun the installation (and/or uninstall) then reinstall. Instead of creating a new database, just tell the installation that you have an existing one. After the install is completed, put in the correct database information and MAPI profile information (it may still be there). It *shouldn't* lose any settings (although I won't guarantee that).
In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and is widely regarded as a bad move.
