I've just noticed a lot of people who have posted issues here are running older Service Packs than that of what RIM issued a fix for that same issue.

Just curious.

Yes, but we run the fixes for a week or two in a testlab before they are applied to the production server.

We usually do every service pack (haven't done 5 yet), but only some hotfixes. We normally will only apply a hotfix if it addresses an issue we are seeing. As far as rolling them out, we usally install in the lab for a few days, then install on a test server in production with a few users for a week or so, then move on to one production server (usually the one with a high conectration of IT people), run it there a week or so and then gradually upgrade the rest of the production servers.
