It's dependant upon the setting on the BES - There is a 'pre-population'
field. (obviously)

Goto your blackberry server properties
Then the pre-population tab

Your settings will be there.

Not certain if you'll need to stop/start the service or not to take effect if you change anything.

Also, obviously make sure wireless reconciliation is enabled on the e-mail options tab. Wireless sync should pull down the messages.

are you talking about the pre fil option. This is set to 5 days. I might add that it did work a few times. but only when i complety removed the user profile on the BES. But not at all now.

Is the send headers option checked? Try checking it if it isn't.

Other then that i'm not entirely sure, we haven't run into this issue.
May also want to stop/start the BES service. But i'm sure you've done that.

Are you ever removing the user completely? I have not seen this work by simply doing an Enterprise Activation for an existing user. I believe you'd have to remove them, readd them (although you should wait a few minutes (5 or so) before readding, per RIM), generate new password, activate.

Got to work. Apparently when i was deleting the user from the BES i was saving the mailbox settings. But you have to remove these settings as well. The handheld will store 5 days worth of emails or 200 emails the amount of emails takes precdent.
