On the handheld, in the mail application go to options / email settings / (click trackwheel) / folder redirection.

There you'll see a list of folders. By default "Junk E-mail" shouldn't be on the list - perhaps someone has turned it on on the handheld by mistake?

Once you get to the Email Settings screen, are you sure that you are that you clicking the wheel inward to summon its menu as Ugg recommended?

The Folder Redirection option is actually found on that menu, not the actual Email Settings screen.

If the Folder Redirection command is missing from the menu, then perhaps your service provider has mis-provisioned your account.

As the Bes admin, in BlackBerry Manager, you can also set it by going to user properties

Default junk email outlook 2003

That is not what he is asking. What he wants to know is how do you stop junk email that ends up in the outlook 2003 folder from being sent to the handset.

The answer is you cannot.

The reason is that the BES system grabs the message and sends a copy to the handset BEFORE the exchange / outlook software moves it to the Junk Email Folder.

So it was really in the inbox when it was forwarded by BES. Then it got moved to the Junk E-Mail folder after it was already forwarded.

The only way to stop this is to have a anti-spam tool filter the SMTP message before Exchnage gets control of it. I am experienmenting with Trend Micro ScanMail feature to do this.

I have the same problem.
