Question difference between normal e-mail and meeting request

Please Login to Remove!

Hello,

When I send an e-mail from my device, all is OK.

When I send a meeting request from my device, I have one v green, then after a few seconds a red cross (not indexed error)

Which is the difference between this two e-mail in practice? Which is the technical difference which can explain why one is OK and the other not?

thank you
(in realtion with post calendar synchro problems ?)

Im guessing if you get the REF ID of the message you get a red cross (ALT v i e w ) and look it up in the logs you will find you will get a permissions error with mapi error code (8004011d). Im guessing that your service account is an exchagne full admin and not view only admin.

Check it out and let me know.

Edit: The different between email and Calendar is that the BES needs to inject that item into the users calendar so the service account needs to be able to do that. If it is an exchange full admin that permission in Exchange is denied by default.

Hello,

I found the solution.

My user was simply hidden in the Global Adress List of MS-Exchange

When my mailbox returns visible all is right.

A issue for RIM ???
