We are running BES 4.0.0.54 on a Domino 6.5.3 server.
Messages appear to be getting to the server fine (messages are being queued) however they are not being being sent to the BlackBerry devices (They remain Pending).

How should I troubleshoot this?

Network connectivity appears fine (i.e. no problem accessing the server, or accessing the Internet from the server)

No, SRP shows disconnected. How do I "reconnect"?

You will most likely have to call RIM to get it re-enabled. I would bet at one point this SRP was stood up on more than one server at a time. Perhaps you have a test environment where you were testing BES, then moved it into a production environment while the test server was still online.

Either that or the SRP you are trying to use is no good or expired. Regardless, RIM is the only one that can re-activate or assign you a new SRP.

Turned out to be a DNS/Firewall related issue. But checking the SRP status put us on the right track...
