I need to rename a server that was just added to my enviornment. Running Server 2003, Exchange 2003 Admin, BES 3.6. It does not have users added yet and is the 2nd bes server in the enviornment.

What are the implications of making the name change and would it be easier to uninstall BES, rename and reinstall?

there should be no impact on the BES to undergo a name change. if you want the BES virtual server (SERVER11) to have the same name, then you would need to remove that from the BES and readd (NEWSERV11).
